![]() You can pay to make something if you dont have the material with the amount scaling depending on how much material is missing, you can pay to decrease the insane crafting times, they spam you about their newest lootbox which comes out every month or so, they barrage you with mobile notifications if you have it on, it has constant flashy adverts on the screen which were so bad they had to limit them to a small square at the side of the screen because people complained that much… And nothing is anywhere near cheap in Pocket Camp, you can easily spend $30 a month on the MULTIPLE subscription services it has alone. Hell Animal Crossing Pocket Camp is worse, (though more or less single player they do their damnedest to make you jealous of other players who bought cosmetics giving you friend suggestions of people who bought a lot of loot boxes…) you can pay for literally anything. Immortal is probably just taking what Blizzard has learnt works from its other games, (and apparently it's systems are also based on a lot of Korean games…) which people strongly defend. Also while I'm complaining about Blizzard people love the lootboxes in Overwatch, I've seen them defend them as well. Diablo 3 was literally the only Blizzard game I still played, mostly because I didnt have to pay a thing for it. The combo of keeping a sub (which people argue for saying it keeps the 'poor plebs' out, and cheered as they raised its price up to 'keep up with current taxes'…) along with all the microtransactions for everything made me quit Warcraft and Blizzard in general. Warcraft STILL has a chunky monthly sub that you need to pay before you can even play it, along with pricey microtransactions that can instalevel your character and give them decent gear at least. Though maybe because its pvp scene isnt huge it's not as important?ĮSO had loot boxes, a premium sub, buyable boosts for everything, microtransactions, paying to decrease crafting time, and yet I never saw anyone say a thing about it. They also charge you for bank space, and have a million cosmetic items that can come in packs around $30. Immortal is exactly the game they always wanted to make) but, I kind of dont get why THIS one has people outraged … Has no one played other mobile or even online mmos?ĪQ3D is miles worse, they give you a million things that takes ages to craft because you can pay actual money to speed up the crafting, which is about as petty as it gets from what I've seen. I'm not saying it's not bad and people shouldnt fight against it, I really hope they do to force the pushback like how they had to close the real money market in Diablo 3, (which interestingly made the investors and higher ups give up on it, which is why it didnt get much content afterwards. Okay, this is NOWHERE NEAR the greediest game ever made… I've watched its development since day one, I was there watching online when they made the announcement (and yelled 'no! I dont have a phone! I have a tablet with skype!' back) because I used to be a hardcore Blizzard fan. ![]()
